About Us
The Pomperaug Health District is staffed by full-time, public health professionals dedicated to the community they serve. All sanitarians have college degrees and are certified by the State of Connecticut in Subsurface Sewage Disposal and Food Service Inspections. The combined work experience of the environmental health staff is in excess of sixty years. Additionally, the public health nurse possesses a B.S.N. Degree and has extensive public health and clinical nursing experience.
